We really appreciated Dave's excellent service. I read reviews and called Dave's Appliance to fix my refrigerator, which had stopped cooling and the ice cream had melted. His dispatcher arranged for him to arrive in the late afternoon, the same day! Dave arrived on time, and within 20 minutes he diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The problem was a broken circuit in the circuit board which powers the compressor. He soldered the broken circuit, and the refrigerator has run for 8 days. He is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend him.

The repair service offered by the refrigerator manufacturer (GE) would not have been able to arrive for 6 days. By that time, all of the contents of the refrigerator would have spoiled. There is no one to talk with at GE repair as ALL of their phone numbers lead to the same message that says make an appointment using our website. Thus, GE does not offer any useful refrigerator repair service at this time.

Dave and his wife are a fantastic team. Communication was great. Had an issue with my oven and while changing the water filter on my fridge, something broke in the mechanism. He was able to come by the next day. He fixed the stove but had to order some parts for the fridge. He came as soon as they came in and fixed my fridge. Believe the five-star reviews!!!!

He responded quickly to my refrigerator repair. He gave me helpful advice on whether it was worth repairing it versus buying a new one. Fortunately, it was an easy fix. I would definitely call him again for any appliance issues in the future.

We called Dave's Appliance and a friendly human being answered the phone! That was the beginning of a good review. Dave came out and checked our refrigerator which wasn't cooling. He explained our options for repair and gave the cost for each (there were 3 possibilities - the fan, the circuit board, or both). No pressure to repair it, a new fridge was another option. When we decided to buy a new one, we asked him for suggestions and he guided us to several top choices. He saved us hours of research time searching reviews for what to buy. He's friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, fairly priced, and beyond helpful. When he left, I told him I almost wanted another appliance to break down so we could get him back. And someday one will, and we will call Dave. Thank you, Dave!

This is how it's supposed to happen. Something in your home breaks down you do your research on yelp and you make a phone call. Two days later, Dave shows up inspects my dishwasher tells me it needs a part- explains everything to me in a way I can understand and orders the part, and tells me he'll be back in touch. A few days later, I get a phone call he's ready to install the new part! He comes today right on time (always on time) and quietly gets to work. A little while later he stands up and says it's finished AND he's got my kitchen looking like he was never here everything wiped up! He tells me what it cost and I could not be a happier customer! Very honest and reliable and his wife takes care of his appointments too. She is very good about leaving messages. If you need something repaired, call Dave's appliance first!!

You won't find a more knowledgeable and honest appliance repair guy. Dave is amazing. I won't even consider using anybody else after the work he did for us.

Dave was great. He came out on a Monday after a Saturday call when others were quoting me Wednesday. He stuck to the hundred-dollar diagnostic fee and included the repairs within that fee. He advised me on repairs to make and ones to let go of as the cost-benefit was not worth it in the long run for my aging w/d set. I will call Dave again. He's fair. He's competent. And he's a nice guy. Thanks, Dave.

Dave showed up within the window estimate, was knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed the issue. We ended up going with a new fridge but appreciate the quick responses and an appointment on short notice.

We have had an LG French door fridge for 3+ years that stopped working. We couldn't get LG to come to look at it till 10 days after we made a service call. So we called Dave and he was able to come the following day. Dave pulled the fridge away from the wall by himself to diagnose the problem. He confirmed that it was a compressor issue which was common with the model that we have. He explained the situation objectively since we're undecided if we should have it fixed or get a new replacement. Dave was very knowledgeable about various types of refrigerators. If you have issues with your appliances, you should definitely contact Dave.

It's not often I leave reviews, but in this case, I had to. We've been dealing with washing machine issues that are supposed to be covered under LG's 1-year warranty. However, LG's third-party contractor failed to show up for our appointment WEEKS AGO and we've been dealing with this problem ever since. We finally decided to give up on LG's warranty service team and my partner called Dave's Appliance this morning. Dave came out this afternoon and while our washing machine issue did not present itself during his diagnostic (of course), we were so insanely pleased with his service. He was very kind, explained things, took extra long trying to get our machine to leak like it did before, and loved our french bulldog 😉 Highly recommend!

LG fridge, not cooling/freezing. Got a quick response with a quote and appointment. Dave was friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable, explaining the problem and my options which allowed me to make an informed decision as to my next steps (repair vs get a new fridge). Though I opted not to get the repairs done, and there was absolutely no pressure from Dave to change my mind, he made recommendations on a more reliable fridge. Nothing is more irritating than to have an appliance go awry in the kitchen...Generally, I would have just replaced the dishwasher, but it is a Bosch and only a few years old so thought I would look to have it repaired. LUCKILY, I came across Dave's Appliance Repair! They were able to come out within 48 hrs to see what needed to be done, a few tweaks, and the dishwasher is running like new! Not only that, Dave showed me a shortcut to the controls which I never knew about. It's nice to know that I have a new repair technician to call... Highly recommend!

My refrigerator's ice maker stopped working and the appliance repair company I used in the past declined to service it indicating they were not currently servicing Whirlpool refrigerators. I requested a quote from Dave's Appliance and Jeslin promptly responded with one. Dave showed up for the appointment thirty minutes earlier than scheduled. He took the time to patiently explain every single step he was taking while repairing the appliance. He even showed me how to correct the problem myself if it happened again which, I found truly refreshing and honest since that meant I would not necessarily have to call him again for that particular issue. Dave was very friendly and engaging. I will be more than glad to use his services again in the future!

I am new to the area, and I needed someone to take a look at my washer. Since I am not familiar with the area; I yelped some repairs and came across Dave's appliances. I am so happy I did. I got a super fast response from the company, and when it was time to come and fix the machine, Dave was on time, friendly, and very polite and knowledgeable. I called Dave's appliance to schedule for them to come out and fix the water and ice dispenser on my fridge. Dave came out the day after I called for an appointment. My 3 yr old LG refer stopped working. He diagnosed it, vacuumed the coils, and asked about the warranty. Hadn't even thought about it, but I found the paperwork, and the compressor is covered. He doesn't do warranty work for my model but went over what needed to be done. The service charge was well worth it. Prompt, professional, and a very nice person. Will call him in the future with other appliances if needed.

I have used Dave's Appliance a few times and always, and Dave has provided a thorough analysis of our problem and, not only solved the problems but gave us the knowledge to maintain our appliances in good working order. This applied to our dishwasher, refrigerator, and washer-dryer. This kind of service is rare today and very much appreciated. I would also like to add that I appreciated the kind attentiveness of his wife, who answers the service calls and lined up appointments quickly and professionally. They are a great team!

I was having trouble with my dryer not working. I contacted my warranty company that was a joke!! Told me 3 weeks for them to come out!! I contacted Dave from Google he came out on time and got my dryer back working.

I could not possibly be happier with the service and advice I received from Dave. Unfortunately, my dryer was not worth the cost to repair, but I appreciated the very informative, clear, and honest appraisal. Dave absolutely knows what he is talking about and quickly diagnosed several major problems. He even had some excellent advice about what to look for in a replacement. The next time I need appliance service, this is the first and only place I'm calling. FYI - I asked for and received a quote using Yelp, but they never received my responses. Fortunately, I called them to confirm and was able to make an appointment that way. If you don't hear back from Dave's, it's not their fault, it's Yelp. Also, Yelp thinks I'm in Red Bluff, but I'm not. This service was in Davis, CA.

So sad Dave is nearing retirement! What will we do without him? Dave is pleasant and reliable. Be prepared to order your own parts.
